ABOUT THE ARTIST
LAURA JANSEN
Is a contemporary artist based in Amsterdam with Indonesian and Moluccan roots. Her way of creating art is deeply intuitive and emotionaly drivin. Shaped by a strong connection to herritage, Imperfections, women, nudes, nature and spirituality. As a self-taught artist, she creates from a place of innerflow. Allowing color, texture and energy to guide each piece.
Working primarily with high-flow ink, Ecoline, Indian ink, paint markers and acryllic, Jansen's abstract works blend organic movement with vibrant colors and lots of contrast. Through her art, she invites viewers into a quiet space of remembrance, healing, and reconnection with the self.
